Lexathon 2.0 is an amalgamation of a 5K, 10K &15k Marathon with the motto “REACH THE UNREACHED” in Chennai. Students, parents, faculty, marathon runners and other community members will gather together to help raise funds for promoting legal education for underprivileged students, who are potential future attorneys, striving to reach their dreams.
The funds raised from this marathon will go towards achieving the aims and objectives of IDIA.

IDIA Charitable Trust (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access to Legal Education) is a pan-Indian, student-run non-profit organization that aims to empower underprivileged children communities by giving access to quality legal education to youth from such communities. It was started by the late Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer in 2010 when he was teaching at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. It trains underprivileged students over 1-2 years and helps them transform into leading lawyers and community advocates. IDIA is supported by top Indian law firms and legal luminaries from across India., IDIA student chapters also organize crowd- fundraising events.
